Kindergarten Readiness Summer Camp

Our Kindergarten Readiness Camp is a fun and engaging weeklong summer program designed for students entering kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year. Held from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM each day, the camp offers the perfect balance of structured learning, hands-on exploration, and guided practice with classroom routines and expectations. Children build confidence as they strengthen social skills, gain independence, and become comfortable in a school setting—all while having fun and making new friends.

In our warm, supportive environment with small group instruction, experienced educators nurture early literacy development through activities focused on letter recognition and sounds, name writing, rhyming, vocabulary building, and story comprehension. Students also build strong math foundations by exploring counting, number recognition, shapes, patterns, sorting, and simple problem-solving. Beyond academics, we emphasize social and emotional growth by helping children practice listening skills and following directions, cooperating with peers, and developing independence in daily routines. Each day includes creative play and discovery through art projects, music and movement, themed learning centers, and opportunities for meaningful social interaction. Our Kindergarten Readiness Camp is thoughtfully designed to create a smooth, joyful transition into kindergarten while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Details:

Students should be dropped off between 9:15 and 9:30 AM and picked up between 1:30 and 1:45 PM each day. A parent or caregiver must accompany their child into the center to sign them in and out of the program. Students should bring a labeled water bottle, a snack, and a packed lunch daily. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use if needed. While the overall structure of each week will remain consistent to provide routine and familiarity, activities and themes will vary, allowing students to enroll in multiple weeks for a fresh and engaging experience each time.
