Supporting Every Learner
Welcome to Uniquely You, where learning is individualized and fun. Founded by a passionate educator and devoted mom, our center was built on the belief that every child deserves a supportive, engaging, and nurturing environment to grow academically and socially. With years of classroom experience, we combine proven teaching methods with a personalized touch. Whether your child needs a boost in academics, enrichment opportunities, or a safe space to discover their love for learning, we’re here to support every step of the journey.

Our Story
Hi, I'm Sharon, the owner of Uniquely You.
As both a teacher and a mom, nothing prepared me for the heartbreak of watching my autistic, gifted son struggle in a school system that couldn’t see his brilliance—or meet his needs. I advocated. I adapted. I hoped. I tried everything I could to make it work.
Admitting that the system I believed in wasn’t meeting his needs was incredibly difficult. I spent countless hours searching for ways to support his academic, social, emotional, and sensory development outside of the school day, which left us both exhausted. In the end, I realized he needed something different… something more.

That realization sparked the beginning of Uniquely You.
I created this center for families like mine—families who know their children are capable, creative, and full of potential, but just need the right environment to shine. Here, we understand that every child is different, and we’re committed to providing individualized support that helps them thrive.
Whether your child needs academic guidance, social connection with peers, or a space where their unique strengths are celebrated, we're here to help you navigate the path forward with compassion and expertise. At Uniquely You, we see your child. We see you. And we’re here to walk this journey alongside you.

I am a passionate educator, a lifelong learner, and a firm believer that every child has unique strengths to be celebrated and challenges that can be supported in a caring environment. I hold bachelor's degree in psychology and mathematics, a master's degree in education, and a doctorate in education. I also hold a Pennsylvania teaching certificate for elementary education and high school mathematics.
When I'm not working with families, you can find me hiking, traveling, or spending time with friends and family. Fun fact: I've visited 48 of the 50 U.S. states--Nebraska and Wisconsin are the last two on my list!
