Homeschool Evaluations

Our homeschool evaluation services comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's requirements for annual assessments, providing a review of your child's academic progress in accordance with state guidelines. The process includes a 30 minute meeting where a PA certified teacher reviews the following:  the child's portfolio showing growth throughout the year in all subjects; attendance records showing 180 days (or logged hours); book/resource log; testing results for students in grades 3, 5, and 8; and a brief interview with the student. We support and evaluate all types of homeschooling approaches.  After the evaluation, we provide families with a written report within two business days for submission to their home district.
