Our Services
Uniquely You offers many options for your child's academic and social growth. We offer story time classes for preschool children, private one on one tutoring, social groups, instructional classes, and homeschool end of year evaluations.

Our Preschool Story Hour offers a welcoming, sensory-friendly space where young learners can explore the magic of storytelling through engaging, interactive experiences. Each session is thoughtfully designed to captivate children’s imaginations, incorporating visual aids, props, and movement to support diverse learning styles. We focus on fostering language development, social skills, and emotional expression in a fun, low-pressure environment. By celebrating each child's unique way of engaging with stories, we aim to build confidence, promote early literacy, and spark a lifelong love of reading.

Our Social Groups are designed to create a safe, supportive space where children can develop and practice essential social skills in a structured, low-pressure environment. Using play-based activities and guided interactions, we help children improve their communication, cooperation, and emotional regulation. We currently offer board game, book club, and virtual learner social groups. Each group is tailored to meet the unique needs of the participants, with a focus on fostering friendship-building, empathy, and self-expression. Through these social groups, we aim to empower students with the confidence to navigate social interactions both in and outside of the classroom.

Our Academic Classes are offered for students in grades 2-8. Our small group academic classes are designed to meet students where they are—and help them grow with confidence. Our classes provide a supportive, low-stress environment where learning makes sense and students feel seen.
Our curriculum is tailored to fit a variety of learning styles, needs, and goals. We focus on building foundational skills, critical thinking, and a genuine love for learning. We currently offer math and writing academic classes.
Each class is led by experienced educators who understand the unique needs of neurodivergent learners, gifted students, and those who simply need a different approach.

Our tutoring approach is tailored to the individual needs of each student, recognizing the diversity in how learners process information. We use evidence-based strategies such as scaffolding, structured routines, and sensory-friendly tools to create a calm and focused learning environment. Tutors work one-on-one with students to provide personalized instruction that targets both academic skills and emotional resilience, fostering independence and self-advocacy. By building a strong rapport with each student, we aim to not only improve academic performance but also to inspire confidence, creativity, and a positive outlook on learning. We offer in-person or virtual tutoring options for students in grades K - 12.

Our homeschool evaluations are completed by PA certified teachers for students in grades K-12 who reside in any district in the state. We follow guidelines set by the PA Department of Education, requiring an interview with the student, a reading materials log, a review of the student's portfolio, a calendar showing 180 days (or 900 hours for elementary or 990 hours for secondary), instruction in the required subjects, and proof of testing for students in grades 3, 5, and 8. We can complete evaluations in person at our learning center or virtually.
